The chalet was excellent, we can’t wait for next year, as our family have definitely been bitten by the skiing bug. Having rented various properties throughout France over the last 10-15yrs we were impressed with the quality of equipment and fittings etc. The one thing that we really missed was a house book explaining simple stuff such as washer/tumble dryer instructions, where to deposit bags of rubbish, local shops/restaurant info although i assume from your email that you are intending to put something like this together. So here goes…
We rented our ski equipment from the ski shop (Montagne -Show) at the lift station at Le Chable, the kit was good quality and professionally fitted, we didn’t look at the other shop because we didn’t see it until 2-3days in to our stay. We chose to buy lift passes just for the 4 vallees which provided far more runs than we could ski in a week. Initially we shopped at a small supermarket near to the pharmacy and raclette restaurant in Le chable but then discovered a slightly larger one on the main road in to le Chable on the left just after the traffic lights. Next year we may try the Co-op in Sembranche that we spotted on our way home that seems larger and a similar distance. On a daily basis we bought fresh bread in the village shop in Levron. We also found a place in Bruson that sold logs at 10 francs for a large box.
We ate in the chalet every night except one as the oven is very good and the chalet very comfortable (we may have struggled for comfy seats if there had been 6 of us), we were happy chilling out in front of the fire. On the one occasion that we ate out we tried the raclette restaurant in le Chable which is on the right after you take the road to Verbier from the roundabout. This cost about £20 per head including drinks but we only had main courses, the service was very friendly, the food excellent (particularly the raclette for 2) and very generous portions. We were pleased that we had not ordered starters and could not manage dessert. We will definitley re-visit this establishment.
There has to be a slight down-side, we were a little surprised at the cost of the cleaning 120 francs and the bed linen at 52 francs which is considerably more than we have paid before but may reflect our lack of familiarity with Switzerland.

We very much liked the location, and had a good flavour of it assisting at the Eastern mass and at a village a capella concent. The lady who takes care of your chalet is very friendly. We had wonderful weather and still enjoyed good skiing.
The following could be enhanced:
curtain in the bath rooms so when you take a shower the whole bath room is not wet
a tea pot
a kitchen tool to dry salad
the sun chairs seem to be a bit worne out
wood for the fire place in the winter
some information on the surroundings which you could get from a tourist information center
information on price of linen.

Our holiday in Levron was perfect. The chalet surpassed our expectations. It was beautifully situated in an unspoilt Swiss village, wouldn’t change a thing. We had some lovely walks and cycle rides in the area, the walk from Col du Lein to Pierre Avoi was spectacular, also the dam at Mauvoisin was well worth a visit. Champex near Orsieres was another lovely area. We would love to return again in the future.

Yes, we had a wonderful time in Levron and everything in the chalet was
allright, as we expected. We could find the chalet very easily. Madame
Joris brought us a visit on sunday and gave us very kindly a lot of
information on the area. The house is very comfortable and we loved the
wonderful view in the Val Ferret and on the village of Levron where life
has its own pace and people are very friendly.
We made walks in the surroundings and made also trips into the valleys
around. We saw a lot of glaciers and were again very impressed by the
Grand Combin.
We certainly hope to visit this part of Wallis once again.

We had a great holiday thank you. There is only two minor points. The first is the need for shower curtains in both bathrooms as it caused the bathroom floor to get soaked. Also a welcome book with information and places to visit would have been helpful especially for summer renters. Thank you good luck for the future.

We enjoyed much our stay in your chalet in le Levron. We left one day
in advance for convenience. We told it to R. Jorris at the very
beginning of our stay, so that she could arrange everything for the
cleaning, etc… It was a great holiday. The landscape from the chalet
was really wonderful. Le Levron is a very peaceful place. The chalet
itself was clean, comfortable and conveniently equipped.
We will warmly recommend your place to friends. If we can have the
opportunuity, we will come there again with pleasure.

Just a quick note to say we had a great time in the Chalet, I cant think of anything else you would need there, we loved it, thank you

sorry for being lazy about giving you some feedback on the chalet up on the alp..
in fact we had a perfect stay. those of us who skied (4) motored down to le châble at break of dawn every morning (like about 10-11) and had a great time on the slopes until about 3:30 at which point it got very icy. the others (2) went walking every day straight from the chalet and up the hills and they had a great time too, being right in the heart of the hiking action.
every evening we oh-ed and ah-ed at the sight of the sun going down behind the hills, practically on a level with us.
we were on top of the world.
my sisters (both parisians) enjoyed the skiing very much. they are both familiar with verbier and appreciated not having to go through the concrete stairs and throngs of medran.
my partner, who is brazilian, was constantly in awe of the stark beauty of the skyline.
roselyn is a gem - the house was spick and span, and certainly she made us very welcome when she came to check us out after our arrival: she was puzzled to see 2 cars, with paris and bordeaux car plates, when the guests were supposed to come from geneva! but i can tell you she was very diplomatic about it.
so … we shall return, possibly in the summer.
thank you again for a very pleasant stay.
ps here are the negatives (ever so trivial):
we missed: a bread toaster
a caquelon for fondue
the lighting is a bit stark, perhaps ….

You’re not being a nuisance at all. We should be apologising to you for failing to supply you with our feedback. To be honest I’m the sort of person who very quickly forgets about any negative issues and only remembers the ‘good things’ of which there were many at your chalet.
The views were stunning, the chalet was extremely comfortable, cosy and full of charm. It was kitted out with just about everything we could wish for and we had a wonderful stay. We wish it was longer and I would certainly return again and recommend it to our friends and family. We realised how special the location was when we ventured into Verbier and had a chance to compare the hustle and bustle of the ski resort with the tranquility offered by Le Levron. I personally loved the peaceful feel of the village which was a ‘proper’ working Swiss village surrounded by beautiful mountains which were covered by a network of trails which were perfect for hikes and long runs. I would love to come back again in summer to tackle some more of these by mountain bike or by hiking. In summary, I had a fabulous time and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Superb!
I have been reminded about a couple of issues but they certainly did not impact my enjoyment of my stay at Chalet Morrow. She remembered that the lack of a microwave made re-heating leftovers awkward and we also couldn’t get the heater in the main living room to work (we wondered if it required a new fuse in the sealed fuse box which we couldn’t access?). As I say none of these were major issues and were quickly forgotten.

We had a truly unique family holiday. I hope someday we will have another chance to visit. I loved walking in the village and we were welcomed warmly on New Year’s Eve in the village square. Your cleaner was very pleasant and respectful while we were in residence and the chalet was spotless when we arrived. Please feel free to use our comments and I would also be happy to provide a reference if any of your clients request one.

We wanted to thank you for the marvellous stay we had in your chalet.
The chalet as the environment and the skiing were fantastic.
In hoping to come back soon.

We had a fantastic week in Verbier with sunshine all week, good pistes, no crowds and no injuries.
The chalet was superb with stunning views and very comfortable and peaceful. In fact it was so nice we cooked at home and did not go out to eat at all. It looks like a great base for walking in the summer so I might be in touch again!
M Family, March 2008
We have arrived home, back in France, but we left a part of ourselves in Levron!
It was difficult to leave this beautiful place and we had to promise to our children that we’ll try to come back again……..
We arrived pretty late on the 1st of march so you can imagine the feeling we had opening the curtains and discovering the view……………
Already arriving in the chalet we were so impressed by it, so beautiful and clean and so well furnished….but the view the next morning……….my words are too poor to express the real feeling.
Mme Joris is kind and very pleasant, contact was really good! Your chalet is simply perfect….there is only one small but insignificant thing that is missing and that is a toaster
We used the oven-grill one morning but only that one time as I think that it’s a waste of an energy for a few slices of bread.
Afterwords we found a good bakery and had a fresh bread everyday ![]()
My husband used the Internet for about 2 hours total, so if we owe you some money please let us know. I thought in the beginning that there was an ADSL that at least in France doesn’t cost more then fix monthly payment, that’s why I felt free to ask for the password….
THANK YOU so much again for letting as spend a wonderfull week in Levron!
